Arctic Food Equipment is excited to announce our acquisition of Ozarks Food Equipment Sales & Service. The Springfield Business Journal wrote an excellent article on the purchase, but we thought it would be worth sharing more details with both sets of our customers.
Ozark Food Equipment Sales & Service has been around the Springfield area for nearly 50 years. They have an amazing track record of quality service and parts sales for their customers, focusing on school districts, groceries and other commercial kitchens. From the beginning, Ozarks Food Equipment has had a relationship with Hobart and has extensive knowledge of their products and repair procedures. Ozarks Food Equipment also stocked a large inventory of parts, allowing local companies and maintenance crews to get the parts they need quickly. The parts department, as well as a relationship with Hobart, the industry leader in mixers, slicers and grinders, made the acquisition a perfect fit.
Arctic Food Equipment is excited to create a parts division in our company. We look forward to increasing our partnership with southwest Missouri’s school districts and grocery stores. Many of our customers have mixers and slicers; with the acquisition we can now offer a wider variety of products and repair capabilities to fit any customer needs. Bringing a larger selection of parts in house ensures we’ll have the parts in stock to service your equipment correctly and in a timely manner. Maintenance crews will still have a reliable source of the parts they rely on to keep their facilities running at peak efficiency.
In light of the acquisition, large grocery stores and cafeterias now truly have one company that can handle all their mechanical needs. Previous customers of Ozarks Food Equipment and Arctic Food Equipment can now work with us if they need HVAC, exhaust hood, hot equipment, refrigeration, ice machine or walk-in work.
